A grant has been awarded from the Nature Restoration Fund for a major new project on the Estate in the Clunie catchment south of Braemar. A lot of riparian tree planting has been undertaken on the Estate in recent years and the new project will add to this, provide deadwood habitats in the water itself and create a significant number of new wader scrapes. The work will be led by the Dee District Salmon Fishery Board with support from the Estate and its staff.
Further information can be found on the River Dee website.
