The River operates a catch and release policy as part of an important package of conservation measures to improve the bio-diversity of the river system.

Invercauld also has several productive hill lochs to fish for wild brown trout. Set in the most breathtaking scenery, our remote lochs are a haven from the hustle and bustle of modern life. Loch Beannie in Glenshee also has a boat for hire if you like fishing to the soundtrack of gently lapping water.
