Visitors from around the world come to Invercauld to enjoy walked-up and driven red grouse shooting as well as red stag stalking on one of Scotland’s finest sporting estates. We have four beats across the Estate and can often supply guests with grouse shooting or stalking subject to availability.

Whilst much of our sport is taken by returning parties, we do have some available to let from time to time. Please contact us about walked up grouse shooting, including over pointers, and driven grouse shooting to confirm what is available. Partridge and pheasant shooting enquiries are also welcome.

All parties are accompanied by our experienced gamekeepers. On some beats, the stags are brought home from the hill on a ‘garron’ or stalking pony. This is a marvellous traditional sight and a fitting end to the day’s sport. On other beats we use all terrain vehicles to extract the carcasses. The stalking experience at Invercauld is a highlight for many people who enjoy the cultural tradition of this age-old way of life.
