Over the past 10 years, a significant number of projects have been undertaken on Invercauld Estate to help the Atlantic salmon which return to spawn in the tributaries of the River Dee.

Salmon are threatened by a number of factors currently, not least climate change. Have a look at our most recent video at the link below which explains some of the works carried out on the River Clunie at Newbigging, about 5 miles south of Braemar, to tackle this.
